By accessing this website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited (CIN: U47912MH2026PTC123456, GSTIN: 27AAACV1234N1Z5), the company that owns and operates Karigari.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By clicking "Place Order", creating an account, or otherwise transacting on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service along with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Cancellation Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and transact independently on this website. If you are below 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase on your behalf, and by doing so, they accept these Terms on your behalf and take full responsibility for all transactions. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion if we have reason to believe the eligibility criteria have not been met.
3. Account Responsibilities
When you create an account on karigaricraft.shop, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it. You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use false information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these obligations.
4. Pricing and Taxes
All prices displayed on karigaricraft.shop are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Our GSTIN is 27AAACV1234N1Z5, with the prefix 27 indicating our Maharashtra registration. A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued electronically with every confirmed order. Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, the price displayed at the time you place your order is the price you will pay, provided your payment is successfully captured. Shipping fees, if applicable, are shown separately at checkout and are not included in the product price.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
An order placed by you constitutes an offer to purchase goods at the stated price and conditions. A legally binding contract is formed between you and Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited only when we confirm that your payment has been successfully captured and we send you an order confirmation email containing a unique order ID (formatted as KAR######). Until that confirmation is issued, we reserve the right to decline or modify your order — for example, if a product becomes unavailable between the time you added it to your cart and the time payment was processed.
6. Stock and Substitution
Karigari products are handcrafted, often in limited quantities. While we endeavour to keep our inventory accurate in real time, situations may arise where a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed. In such cases, we will notify you within 24 hours and offer either a full refund to your original payment method or, where possible, a substitution of comparable style and value — which you are free to accept or decline. We will never dispatch a substitute product without your explicit consent.
7. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel any order for the following reasons: (a) suspected fraudulent activity or unusual purchasing patterns; (b) the product being genuinely out of stock despite inventory records; (c) an incorrect price or description having been published due to a technical error; (d) an undeliverable delivery address that cannot be served by our logistics partners; or (e) failure to receive payment confirmation from the payment gateway within the processing window. In all such cases, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within five to seven business days, along with written notification of the cancellation reason.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on karigaricraft.shop — including the name "Karigari", our logo, product photographs, descriptions, craft narratives, journal articles, and the overall look and feel of the website — is the exclusive property of Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited or is licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written permission. Reverse-engineering our product pages for competitive intelligence, scraping our catalogue programmatically, or training machine learning models on our content without express written consent is expressly prohibited.
9. User Content
If you submit a product review, photograph, or other content ("User Content") on our platform, you grant Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in connection with the Karigari brand, including on social media and marketing materials. You warrant that your User Content is truthful, does not infringe the rights of any third party, and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or obscene material. We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these standards without notice.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation; (b) purchase goods for resale without our written authorisation; (c) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems; (e) use automated bots, crawlers, or scraping tools on our website; or (f) engage in any activity that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with other users' access. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, legal action.
11. Disclaimers
Karigari products are handcrafted by artisans, which means natural variations in colour, grain, texture, stitching, and dimensions are inherent to the product and are not defects. Product photographs are taken under controlled lighting conditions and may not perfectly represent the exact shade as it appears in natural light or on your specific screen. We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and dimensions, but minor variations of up to 5% from stated measurements are to be expected with handcrafted goods. These variations are a feature of authentic craftsmanship, not a grounds for return under our standard return policy, unless they constitute a material defect that affects the product's functionality or significantly departs from the described style.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, your use of the website, or any purchase — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vidhi Vidhan Enterprises Private Limited and its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the website, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or any User Content you submit.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. You expressly consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts and waive any objection based on improper venue or inconvenient forum.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, governmental actions, civil unrest, strikes, fire, flood, or failure of third-party logistics or payment infrastructure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such events and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.

Legal notices must be sent by registered post or courier with proof of delivery.
